2007 Mail Ballot Voting Plus Updated with Elections Home Page Info

For the 2007 Election a ballot will be mailed to each active registered voter in Jefferson County.  The mail ballots will be sent out between October 12 and 22, and will be mailed to the current mailing address on file with the Elections Department.  Included in your packet you will find the following items: 

  • Your ballot
  • A secrecy sleeve
  • A return envelope
  • Voter Instructions with Ballot Drop Site Locations

Follow the instructions printed on the ballot and the secrecy sleeve.  Use a black pen to completely fill in the oval next to your selection on the ballot.  Fold the ballot as you received it with the stub exposed.  Place it into your secrecy sleeve, then place the secrecy sleeve (with the ballot enclosed) into the return envelope.  Complete the affirmation on the back then seal the return envelope.

 

You may drop your ballot off at any of our locations or affix adequate postage and place it in the mail.  In order for your ballot to be counted, it must be in the possession of the Elections Department by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

First-Class Stamp (41 cents) Required to Return a
Voted Jeffco Mail Ballot.
 
Ballots may also be dropped off at any of the
eleven drop-off locations
 throughout Jefferson County.

Please note:

  • The voter registration cut-off date for this election was October 9, 2007.
  • The last day for inactive voters to activate their voter registration file and receive a mailed ballot is November 2, 2007.
  • The last day to request a mailed Replacement Ballot is November 2, 2007.
  •  The last day to request a Mail-In Ballot (Absentee) to be mailed was October 30, 2007.
