Permanent Mail-In Ballot Information

USING A PERMANENT MAIL-IN BALLOT IS CONVENIENT AND EASY


WHY WAIT IN LINE?

Why wait in line?  Permanent mail-in ballot is convenient and easy!

  • Vote in the comfort of your home.
  • A ballot will be mailed approximately 22-18 days before the election.
  • Take your time and review your ballot before election day.

Any eligible elector may apply for permanent Mail-In Ballot.  This status will allow you to automatically receive a mail-in ballot for each applicable election. 

The application must be made in writing or by fax using an application form (pdf) or in the form of a letter. 

The letter shall contain:

  •  Voter's printed name,
  • Signature,
  • Residence address,
  • Mailing address if the applicant wishes to receive the mail-in ballot by mail,
  • Date of birth, and
  • Whether the applicant wishes to be designated as a permanent mail-in voter.

Your name will remain on this list until:

  •  You request that your name be removed;
  •    Your Mail-in Ballot is returned as undeliverable;
  •    Your voter registration record is marked "inactive".
